We have refreshed the design of BillingEngine. In particular, the homepage and the price table have been extensively revised. The homepage now offers much more information and presents customer feedback for the first time, as well as a section for answering frequently asked questions.
From now on, you can also track your business expenses with BillingEngine. This new feature is intended to give you a better overview of your profit situation. You can activate the new feature in your settings. However, the tracking of depreciation and receipts is not yet possible with this feature.
From now on, all invoices will contain a GiroCode / QR code. This contains all the relevant invoice data for a bank transfer and can be easily scanned by the invoice recipient to avoid transmission errors.
By far the most requested feature is finally available: You can now also create quotes with BillingEngine. We look forward to your feedback on this new feature.
From now on, all your invoices comply with the EN 16931 standard, which will be mandatory in Germany from 1 January 2025. Each of your invoice PDFs now contains an embedded XML file with all invoice data, which can be read automatically by the recipient. Even invoices that you have created in the past now comply with the new standard. However, you will need to download the PDF again.
As of today, BillingEngine is available to you in a new, improved design. Among other things, the app now has a full dark mode; for all those who like to work in the dark. We recommend that you update your browser if something is not displayed correctly.
We are expanding our customer base. From now on, you can also pay by SEPA direct debit when you take out a subscription with us.
